Maycon Flores

Maycon Flores do Nascimento is a researcher at IDGlobal. He is currently studying Law at the Federal University of Western Pará (UFOPA) and is a member of the program Living Indigenous Language in Law (LIVD). He is involved in the project to translate the Brazilian Federal Constitution into the Ticuna Indigenous language, promoting access to constitutional rights for Indigenous communities. He is also part of the Indigenous Academic Training program and works in defense of linguistic justice and the right to information. His areas of interest include Indigenous rights, constitutionalism, legal pluralism, legal translation, environmental law, and public policies aimed at the sociocultural and linguistic inclusion of traditional populations.
